Our most recent Away Day brought the Soundswell team together for a packed and varied programme of presentations, discussion and reconnection – all set in the quirky charm of Moor Pool Hall in Birmingham.
Away Days are our opportunity to get together in person, welcome new members of the Soundswell team and share ideas and thoughts around the key topics on the agenda. This time round, as well as the usual company updates, we heard from:
- Emma, who shared insights from her work with the Concept Cat project
- Laura, who outlined her marketing plans for 2025
- Bryony, who introduced us to the key takeaways from her recent training in Outdoor Therapy
Of course, no Away Day is complete without time to chat and unwind. We shared a relaxed lunch, catered once again by the talented Verity at Flavoured Fork. Her food is always fresh, flavourful, and great value. This year, the sunshine allowed us to eat outdoors, surrounded by blooming flowers, buzzing bees, and the hum of tennis balls from nearby courts.
Bryony also led a practical activity inspired by her outdoor therapy sessions with children. Here you can see some of us gathering natural objects to create our very own clay faces – an exercise she does in schools and nurseries.
A big thank you to Barbara at Moor Pool Hall for helping organise our visit and providing us with leaflets detailing the fascinating history of the Moor Pool estate.
We really value our team members. Their morale and happiness are so important to us, and the sense of wellbeing at the end of the day was really evident.
If you would like to discuss ways in which you can become part of our team, simply get in touch and Jo or Diana will give you a call.
