This is where the resources attached to our current training courses can be accessed.
SALI Resources
Soundswell Attention & Listening Intervention is a training package for
school staff. This practical resource aims to develop and enhance children’s
attention and listening skills via a 26 day intervention programme.
Two substantial booklets are included as part of the course:
1. Handbook: theoretical background, details the contents of the resource &
how to use it
2. Intervention plans: 26 sessions, activities and required resources.
SSISS Resources
Soundswell Screening & Intervention for Speech Sounds is a training package for school staff. This practical resource includes a screening tool and a wealth of intervention activities to support children whose speech sounds are slow to develop.
The course includes a booklet which contains the screening tool and the
intervention activities.
SLEUTHS Resources
SLEUTHS is designed to be used with any pupil functioning below National
Curriculum Level. Pupils at this level are likely to have significant communication and learning needs and be part of the school’s SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability) register.
Participants receive the handbook as part of the course. There are two sets of resources (assessments & observation and teaching & learning) which can be accessed here.
SSIPA Resources
Soundswell Screening and Intervention for Phonological Awareness is a training package for school staff. This practical resource aims to develop and enhance children’s phonological awareness skills. These skills are crucial if children are to become successful readers.
