About Gina 

Gina returned to the UK after living and working in Canada for 30 years, and now calls Shropshire home. Gina’s professional focus is supporting the speech, language and communication needs of children and young people with special educational needs in a variety of  settings. 

Interests & Specialisms

Gina worked in assessment and intervention services for preschool and school aged children with a wide range of communication disorders delivered in homes, preschools and mainstream schools, before specialising in the area of autism for the last 20 years. She is also trained in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS). 

PBS is a person-centred, evidence-based framework aimed at improving quality of life and reducing behaviours that challenge, particularly for individuals with autism, learning disabilities, or mental health conditions. Individuals are taught more functional ways to express their preferences and needs.
