About Bryony

Based in South Birmingham, Bryony works across the city in both mainstream and specialist settings, supporting children and young people of all ages.

Interests & Specialisms

Before training as a Speech and Language Therapist, Bryony completed a degree in Psychology and worked as a Teaching Assistant in a school for children with Autism, as well as an Assistant Speech and Language Therapist.

She enjoys working with children and young people of all ages, from pre-schoolers to teenagers, and has a particular interest in music therapy, often incorporating songs, rhymes and music into her sessions. 

Bryony has recently qualified as an outdoor therapist with The Therapy Adventure, and conducts her sessions outdoors, or brings elements of the natural environment into her work whenever she can.

She is also a member of the research team that developed the WellComm Early Years Screening Toolkit
