Jo’s focus is on the client journey, from responding to new enquiries through to overseeing contracts, ensuring that Soundswell consistently delivers the best possible outcomes for children and young people, while providing excellent value for money for our customers. 

She lives in Shropshire. 

Interests & Specialisms

Jo loves supporting settings to recognise the wide-reaching impact of their investment in Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), not just for the children on a ‘caseload’, but for every pupil in their care. She is passionate about helping teams see how a whole-setting approach can transform outcomes and create more inclusive learning environments.

She strongly believes in the power of training and coaching to build staff confidence and capability in managing SLCN in the classroom. For Jo, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing the moment when “the light goes on” and practitioners realise just how much difference simple, practical strategies can make to a child’s SLCN.

Jo and Diana have co-authored two books:
Supporting the Development of Speech, Language and Communication in the Early Years and
Building an Independent Speech & Language Therapy Practice.
