We’re pleased to share that Soundswell has once again achieved Cyber Essentials certification for 2026 🎉
As a company, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of information security. As part of this commitment, we complete an annual assessment process. This involves a detailed self-assessment questionnaire, supported by our internal Information Security policies and procedures.
Once completed, the submission is independently audited by a qualified assessor to ensure we continue to meet the technical requirements set out by Cyber Essentials.
It’s fair to say that whilst cyber security is not necessarily our favourite topic, we fully recognise how important it is to the safe and effective running of our business. To make the process more manageable, we ‘share the love’ and spread the load across the team.
- Diana leads on reviewing and updating our Information Security policies each year, sharing any updates with the team every August.
- Stewart and Jo oversee the Cyber Essentials reassessment process each March.
- We also carry out regular laptop security checks during our team CPD days, held twice a year.
We’re fortunate to have strong technical support in place. Stewart provides in-house expertise, and for more complex matters we work with external specialists Chris Blunt (bluntsecurity.uk) and Alan Bean (beanit.co.uk).
